Spain in Spring | Barcelona and València
In between a few weeks back in the South of France with my boyfriend, we traveled to Spain just before the busy summer season. We ate delicious food, visited numerous museums, and had a lovely 2 days in València before heading back through Barcelona for an afternoon. Use this extensive post to plan your activities, a few restaurants, or simply to know what to expect with the transportation systems. Watch this YouTube vlog for even more behind the scenes from our trip and enjoy planning your own!

Transportation
For both Barcelona and València, we took advantage of public transport. In Barcelona, we each bought a rechargeable T-mobilitat card at a metro station and in València we just took the bus and tapped-to-pay for each ride individually (2€ each). To and from France, we took SCNF and Renfe trains—only about 3 hours between Barcelona and València this way!
Pro tip: Consider buying a family card in Barcelona so you and whoever you’re with can just use the same card instead of each keeping track of your own.
