One Pan Dumplings

These viral dumplings deserved a home on the blog. My weeknight hero and nostalgia seeker, they are incredible and satisfy my cravings for takeout! All made with minimal cleanup (and ingredients, for that matter), these are the dream low-effort, high-reward meal. About 10 minutes to prep and 10 minutes to cook. Make one batch and I have a feel that, like me, you will start to crave them weekly!

Ingredients:

Meatballs:

  • 15 wonton papers

  • 1 pound ground chicken or turkey

  • 3 green onions, minced

  • 1 tbsp chili oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • pinch of black pepper

  • 1 tbsp avocado or sesame oil

  • ½ cup water or bone broth

  • 1 tbsp dill, for garnish (optional)

Chili Soy Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos

  • 1 tbsp chili oil

  • 1 green onion, minced

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Directions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the meat, green onion, chili oil, garlic, and pepper. Form into 15 meatballs.

  2. Add the oil to a large skillet over low-medium heat and spread the meatballs out across the pan.

combine all of the meatball ingredients in a bowl then form about 15 meatballs

  3. Cover each meatball with a wonton paper and lightly pinch the sides.

  4. Add ½ cup of water or broth to the skillet, cover, and turn the heat up to medium. Let the steam cook them through for 10 minutes.

  5. Meanwhile, mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Once cooked, remove the lid and pour the sauce over the meatballs.

  6. Garnish with dill, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
